| This new updated thing is weird...how long has it been like this...
anyways, so theres many a reason I haven't updated my xanga: main reason being...im lazy..haha...
but the second reason is: im busy and trying to graduate!! Or is it busy and trying to get into doctorate school?
I actually didnt realize how busy I really was until I was at an interview for Yeshiva's PhD program and my interviewer asked, "So basically you research 7 days a week?"
wow, I do.
M, T, W: Working in Dr. Carr's lab testing the neurological findings of free-feeding rats vs food restricted rats. (dont actually have to do anything with rats, just post-mortem parts of the brain and Western Blotting them)
W, Th, F (yes, I work in 2 labs wednesday): Working with Dr. Thesen at the comprehensive Epilepsy center testing subjects on visual-tactile stimuli on an MEG machine (like EEG, only 10x cooler)
F,Sa, Sun (yes again, 2 labs friday) : Clinilabs: sleep disorder institute- yes yes, the 10x less cooler EEGs...
Class? what? Homework? what? Thesis? What's that....Did I take on too much this semester? maybe.....
So right now im playing the waiting game...Im done with apps, so now Im waiting for interviews or *shudder* rejections...haven't heard too much..but I guess heres an update on my app update
Programs Accepted to: 1
Programs interviewed but no decision: 1
Programs not interviewed but no decision : 5
Rejections: 0
Lets hope the last statistic stays that number!! hahaha...if only, if only...esp for schools like Columbia: 6 acceptances, at least 300 applications...
